There are a few things in life of a wedding photographer that are on top of the to-have-list. Next to a destination-wedding on the seychelles, a wedding of two men or women, a wedding with lots of brides maids, there is the dream of an indian wedding on top of this list (at least on Rudi's and mine). What a great honor for us being part of such a wonderful indian wedding. Sarah and Charles met in a church in Munich. After being best friends for a while they felt in love with each other and after three years - there we are - at their wedding! We love busy bridal preparations back home in the house of the parents. The more people, the more excitement you can feel. Sarah was just so beautiful so I couldn't stop pressing the camera button. Meanwhile Irena has been at the bride's parent's house Rudi took pictures at the groom's flat.
Due to the nightmare weather conditions the wedding ceremony was inside of the Palmenhaus at Schloss Nymphenburg. The worship-band and two speakers of the wedding couple's church held the ceremony. oh my gosh! it was such an individual and emotional ceremony! Tears could hardly be holden back.
After the ceremony the guests met for the reception in a room next door, so the staff of palmenhaus could arrange the decoration for the evening. While it was raining cats and dogs we did our portrait-shooting. The bride's maids and the best men were so much fun and matched just perfectly with the beautiful bride and groom. Alternately either us, the photographers, stood in the rain or the bride and the groom faced the rain drops for a little variation of picture motives.
We've been at the wedding to the very last dance and couldn't believe how fast this evening went by. Next to great food - also with indian dishes - there were so many individual and personal created contributions from their guests and family. We were really impressed by an indian dance, an indian song, very cute childhood-beamer shows - but as the groom sang an own written love song for his bride we were absolutely overwhelmed!
The guests loved our photobooth, made fun pictures and also had enough time and power to dance the night away.
Dear Sarah, dear Charles - we had such a great day with you both, your family and your guests. Thank you for having us being part of this special day.
